Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nexcrete Ready-Mix Plaster?

Nexcrete Ready-Mix Plaster is a factory-prepared, high-quality dry powder blend of cement, graded sand, polymers, and performance additives. Just add water on-site for consistent mixing – no need for manual sand-cement proportioning. It’s designed for superior bonding, smooth finishes, and durability in interior/exterior walls and ceilings.

  • Prepare the surface: Clean, dampen (not soak) the wall/ceiling.
  • Mixing: Add clean water (approx. 17–20% by weight) to the powder and mix to a lump-free, creamy consistency using a mechanical mixer.
  • Apply: Use trowel, hawk, or spray machine in 10–15 mm layers. Level with straight edge.
  • Finish: Cure lightly for 3–7 days (self-curing additives help). Paint after full drying. Ideal for manual or machine application.

Coverage varies by thickness and surface:

  • At 12–15 mm thickness: Approx. 18–22 sq.ft per 40 kg bag.
  • At 10 mm: Up to 25–28 sq.ft per bag. Factors like surface porosity and application method affect exact yield — always do a test patch.

Yes — our formulations are versatile. Use standard variants for interiors and high-strength/hydrophobic grades for exteriors. It offers excellent adhesion, low shrinkage, and resistance to weathering, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.

While the per-bag price may be slightly higher than raw cement + sand, Nexcrete saves significantly overall: reduced labor, minimal wastage, faster completion (lower overheads), and fewer repairs. Many builders see net savings of 15–30% on plastering costs.
